About the Role
Fort Knox Group, a leading diversified security and financial services provider in West Africa, is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team in Abuja, Nigeria. With a rich heritage of excellence spanning nearly a century, we are looking for a visionary financial leader to optimize our capital structure, drive strategic growth, and oversee comprehensive financial operations across the region.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the finance department strategy in alignment with overarching corporate goals and business objectives.
- Manage capital structure, determining the optimal mix of debt, equity, and internal financing to support expansion.
- Oversee corporate budgeting, financial forecasting, cost-management strategies, and expenditure authorizations.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian tax systems, statutory regulations, and accounting standards.
- Lead external stakeholder relations, including financial institutions, regulatory bodies, and auditors.
- Provide strategic financial insights, risk assessments, and executive reporting to the Board of Directors and Managing Director.
- Supervise and mentor the financial control team to ensure high accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting.
- Proven executive experience as a CFO, Head of Finance, or Senior Financial Manager within a reputable organization.
- Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related professional qualification such as FCA, ACCA, or CFA.
- In-depth expertise in Nigerian tax laws, financial reporting standards, and mortgage banking or financial services operations.
- Demonstrated strength in financial planning, risk management, capital budgeting, and strategic business analysis.
