About the Role
Megastar Technical & Construction Company is a leading provider of quality construction services, committed to fostering an innovative, efficient, and thriving workplace. We are currently seeking a strategic, results-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our Finance and Accounts department, ensuring robust financial management across all our operations and major construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and oversee all financial activities, providing strategic guidance to Executive Management and the Board.
- Manage company liquidity, cash flow, working capital, and overall financial resources.
- Oversee construction project accounting, monitoring costs, budgets, variations, revenue, and profitability.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements.
- Lead tax planning, internal and external audits, and risk management strategies.
- Strengthen internal controls over procurement, payroll, subcontractors, and project expenditures.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing Finance and Accounts team.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Mandatory professional accounting qualification such as ICAN or ACCA.
- Master's degree or MBA is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with proven tenure as a CFO.
- Mandatory minimum of 5 years of finance experience within the construction industry.
- Demonstrated experience working within a Board-led organization.
- Proficiency in accounting ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
