About the Role
Domeo Resources International (DRI) is a prolific organization that proffers HR and Management Consultancy solutions premised on excellence and innovation. We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and detail-oriented Chief Accountant to lead the Finance & Accounts function of the hotel. The successful candidate will oversee all accounting activities covering hotel revenue, cash management, inventory control, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise the day-to-day activities of the Finance & Accounts Department to ensure accurate financial records.
- Oversee the recording and daily reconciliation of revenue from rooms, restaurants, bars, banquets, and events.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, supplier invoice processing, and payroll administration.
- Assist management in preparing the hotel's annual operating budget and monitor actual expenditure.
- Ensure timely preparation and payment of applicable taxes, statutory obligations, and internal financial controls.
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 4 to 6 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally within a hotel, hospitality, or service organization.
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or ANAN is strongly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and PMS/POS revenue systems.
