Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver interactive, learner-focused chemistry lessons that cater to the varying abilities and needs of students.
- Employ modern and creative teaching approaches that foster analytical thinking, scientific innovation, and natural curiosity.
- Continuously monitor, assess, and record student performance using tests, classwork, practical assessments, and constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members, parents, and stakeholders to support the holistic academic and personal growth of students.
- Establish and maintain a disciplined, safe, and engaging classroom environment that enhances effective learning and scientific exploration.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or a closely related field from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Between 2 and 10 years of relevant secondary school teaching experience.
- Candidates must possess or be currently pursuing a Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification or an education-related degree/certificate.
- Proven ability to plan and deliver effective, result-oriented lessons that prepare students for external examinations.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to actively engage and motivate young learners.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, complemented by strong interpersonal abilities.
