Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook high-quality meals, dishes, and culinary specials in accordance with hotel standards and guest preferences.
- Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations across all kitchen areas.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage food stock, and assist with ordering ingredients to minimize waste.
- Collaborate with management to design innovative menus that appeal to both local and international travelers.
- Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times.
- Possession of a relevant culinary qualification or certification from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience working as a Chef in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality setting.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service orientation.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Must currently reside in Port Harcourt and be ready to resume work promptly.
