We are currently seeking a passionate Cultural and Creative Arts (CCA) Teacher to join our dynamic team and inspire the next generation of creative thinkers.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and deliver comprehensive CCA lessons in accordance with the approved Nigerian secondary school curriculum.
- Teach drawing, painting, crafts, design, cultural activities, and other relevant creative arts topics to Junior and Senior Secondary students.
- Develop engaging lesson plans and instructional materials that encourage artistic expression, creativity, and practical learning.
- Assess students' creative work, grade assignments, and maintain accurate academic records.
- Organise practical projects, school exhibitions, and creative activities that showcase students' artistic talents.
- Maintain effective classroom management and ensure the safe use of art materials and equipment.
- Integrate appropriate digital resources and modern teaching tools into classroom instruction.
- Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and other school extracurricular activities.
- Possess a relevant degree or approved qualification in Fine Arts, Creative Arts, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant teaching experience in a recognized secondary school.
- Hold a recognized professional teaching qualification and valid TRCN registration or license.
- Demonstrate strong artistic skills and comprehensive knowledge of modern CCA teaching methods.
- Possess excellent competence in lesson planning, student assessment, and positive classroom management.
- Show strong communication skills and proficiency in digital teaching tools, including interactive boards.
