As we continue to expand our footprint, we are seeking a polite, vibrant, and customer-centric Cashier to join our retail branch in Igando, Lagos. In this role, you will be the friendly face of our store, ensuring smooth daily transactions and fostering positive relationships with our walk-in and online customers.
Key Responsibilities- Greet customers warmly and handle all checkout transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
- Proactively reach out to walk-in customers to understand their needs and provide prompt assistance.
- Resolve customer inquiries and challenges professionally while escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
- Manage bulk orders seamlessly, coordinating with the logistics and stock teams for smooth fulfillment.
- Seamlessly redirect online customers to the appropriate physical outlets or branches for their specific inquiries.
- Handle high-pressure retail situations calmly and effectively to maintain a pleasant store environment.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure total customer satisfaction and support overall store targets.
- Preferred candidate: Female.
- Proven work experience as a Cashier, Retail Sales Representative, or in a similar customer-facing role.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Basic numeracy and computer literacy for handling digital transactions.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Residency in or around Igando, Lagos, with easy accessibility to the store location.
