We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Carpenter to join our technical support team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in constructing, installing, and maintaining wooden structures and fixtures, ensuring all tasks meet the highest standards of safety, durability, and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities- Install, repair, and maintain door handles, cylinders, and engines to ensure optimal functionality and security.
- Construct and install building frameworks, including windows, walls, floors, and door frames, using precise measurements.
- Carry out structural alterations, such as building or dismantling partitions and wooden frameworks.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on existing wooden structures, fittings, and furniture.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements across all assigned tasks.
- Possess a NABTEB or Trade Test qualification in carpentry or a related field.
- Demonstrate 3 to 6 years of proven professional experience as a carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficient in the safe and effective use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized woodworking machinery.
- Strong understanding of modern carpentry techniques, diverse building materials, and industry standards.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
