About the Role
The Kids' Rock Arena School is a reputable day and boarding school located in Magbon, Badagry, Lagos, dedicated to providing a nurturing educational environment that blends Montessori, Early Years, and British curricula. We are currently looking for a passionate and compassionate Caregiver to join our vibrant Creche and Nursery sections. In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the early developmental experiences of our pupils, ensuring a safe, engaging, and loving atmosphere where they can thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Provide attentive, loving, and personalized care to infants and toddlers in the Creche and Nursery.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment that aligns with health and safety standards.
- Assist teachers with daily classroom activities, learning routines, and creative play.
- Monitor children's developmental milestones and report any observations to lead teachers and parents.
- Support feeding, potty training, nap times, and personal hygiene routines for young children.
- Manage positive behavioral guidance and foster social-emotional development among pupils.
- Relevant academic qualifications in Education, Early Childhood Development, Nursing, or a related field.
- Proven professional experience working as a caregiver, nanny, or early childhood educator in a structured school setting.
- Deep understanding of child development and a genuine passion for working with young children.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and patience skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team of educators and support staff.
- Residency in or around Badagry, Lagos, or willingness to commute reliably.
