Key Responsibilities- Bake a wide variety of high-quality cakes, pastries, and confectionery items according to company recipes and standards.
- Design, ice, and decorate cakes using advanced buttercream and fondant techniques for various customer requests and occasions.
- Maintain strict standards of kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety regulations at all times.
- Manage baking inventory, monitor ingredient stock levels, and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with the retail team to ensure appealing product displays that attract customers and drive sales.
- Work flexible hours, including weekends and peak holiday periods, to meet high-demand production schedules.
- Minimum of an SSCE qualification, with formal professional baking or decorating training considered a strong advantage.
- At least 2 years of proven commercial experience in cake baking and professional decoration, with a mandatory portfolio of past work.
- Demonstrated expertise in both buttercream and fondant application skills.
- High level of creativity, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong commitment to product quality.
- Solid understanding of food safety protocols and commercial kitchen hygiene practices.
