About the Role
Excel and Grace Consulting is seeking an experienced Business Manager on behalf of our client in the travel and tourism sector. We are looking for a strategic leader to oversee business operations, drive revenue growth, manage teams, and improve overall profitability across our Lagos and Port Harcourt locations.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily business operations and ensure efficient service delivery across assigned locations.
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.
- Identify new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and grow the company's customer base.
- Manage travel and tour services, including flight bookings, hotel reservations, holiday packages, and visa assistance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel partners, airlines, and hotels.
- Develop and monitor business budgets, revenue forecasts, operating costs, and financial performance.
- Lead, supervise, and evaluate staff performance to ensure productivity and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with relevant travel industry regulations, company policies, and operational standards.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related discipline.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant professional experience, including significant experience in business management or a leadership role.
- Proven experience in the travel and tourism industry is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales, grow revenue, manage budgets, and improve business performance.
- Strong knowledge of travel operations, ticketing, tour packages, reservations, and CRM systems.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills.
