About the Role
Gemameg Company Nigeria Limited is currently seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Bulldozer Operator to join our dynamic operations in Igere Remo, Ogun State. In this role, you will play a vital part in executing essential land development, earthmoving, and agricultural infrastructure projects, ensuring high standards of efficiency and safety across all site activities.
Key Responsibilities- Operate bulldozers and related heavy equipment efficiently and safely in compliance with site guidelines.
- Carry out land clearing, leveling, grading, excavation, and earthmoving activities as directed.
- Inspect equipment thoroughly before and after operation to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
- Report mechanical issues and coordinate prompt maintenance needs with the technical team.
- Follow all operational instructions and strict site safety procedures at all times.
- Maintain accurate daily operational logs and equipment usage records.
- Collaborate closely with farm management and technical teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure proper handling, care, and secure storage of heavy equipment after use.
- Minimum of an SSCE/WAEC qualification.
- Proven professional experience operating bulldozers and similar heavy-duty equipment.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in construction, agriculture, or land development.
- Ability to understand and follow complex equipment operation guidelines and safety standards.
- Good physical condition with the stamina to work long hours when project demands require.
- Strong attention to safety protocols, operational detail, and overall job efficiency.
- Technical or vocational certification in heavy equipment operation is a distinct advantage.
- Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is highly preferred.
