About the Role
ITB Nigeria Limited, a leading civil engineering and building construction company established in 1995, is looking for a dedicated Bored Piling Engineer to join our expanding team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in executing complex deep foundation projects, ensuring adherence to the highest engineering and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee all site operations related to bored piling and deep foundation works.
- Ensure construction activities comply with project specifications, engineering designs, and safety regulations.
- Monitor equipment performance, material usage, and workforce productivity on site.
- Conduct quality control checks and maintain accurate daily logs of piling activities.
- Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues promptly.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports regarding progress, challenges, and solutions in foundation engineering.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in bored piling operations and deep foundation construction.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of geotechnical reports, drilling rigs, reinforcement cages, and concrete pouring processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and technical documentation.
