About the Role
Nigerian Tulip International Colleges (NTIC), a premier network of science-oriented co-educational schools managed by the First Surat Group, is seeking a dedicated and qualified Biology Teacher to join our esteemed academic team. Since our establishment in 1998, we have maintained a strong reputation for academic excellence, offering a comprehensive curriculum from Creche to Senior Secondary levels across more than 16 branches in six Nigerian states. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, well-structured, and interactive Biology lessons to Senior Secondary students in accordance with the approved curriculum.
- Design and supervise practical laboratory sessions to help students connect theoretical biological concepts with hands-on scientific investigations.
- Assess student progress regularly through quizzes, assignments, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to support continuous academic improvement.
- Create a stimulating, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages active student participation and curiosity.
- Maintain accurate academic records, attendance logs, and student performance reports for parents and school management.
- Participate actively in school extracurricular activities, science clubs, staff meetings, and professional development workshops.
- Bachelor of Science in Education (B.Sc. Ed), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Biology or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven teaching experience in a reputable secondary school environment.
- Possession of a TRCN registration certificate is strongly preferred and considered a distinct advantage.
- Deep and comprehensive knowledge of both Nigerian and international secondary school science curricula.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills with a genuine passion for youth development.
