About the Role

Key Responsibilities- Deliver well-structured and engaging Basic Technology lessons to students in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Design and implement practical classroom activities, demonstrations, and laboratory sessions to enhance technical understanding.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback and individualized support where necessary.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and stimulating learning environment conducive to technical and scientific exploration.
- Participate in departmental meetings, professional development workshops, and school-wide extracurricular activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school management to improve teaching methodologies and student performance outcomes.
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed), B.Sc in relevant engineering or technology fields with a PGDE, or equivalent professional teaching qualifications.
- Proven experience teaching Basic Technology or related subjects in a reputable secondary school setting.
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian educational curriculum and modern pedagogical approaches.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in integrating basic technology tools and digital resources into daily lesson plans.
