JV Management Consulting, a premier indigenous Human Resource Management consulting firm, is currently recruiting a passionate and knowledgeable Basic Science & Technology Teacher for the Junior Secondary School level. Located around the Toyin Bus Stop and Agbado axis in Lagos, our client institution is committed to academic excellence and holistic student development. We are looking for an inspiring educator who can bring science and technology to life for young learners, fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a strong foundational understanding of scientific principles.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in Basic Science and Technology aligned with the approved junior secondary school curriculum.
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments to measure student progress.
- Manage the classroom effectively to create a safe, inclusive, and conducive learning environment for all students.
- Simplify complex scientific and technological concepts to ensure easy comprehension by students of diverse learning abilities.
- Evaluate and grade student assignments, projects, and examinations, providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
- Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs as required.
- Maintain accurate academic records and communicate student progress effectively with parents and school management.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Education, Basic Science, Technology, or a closely related discipline.
- Proven teaching experience within a formal secondary school setting will be a distinct advantage.
- Deep understanding of the Nigerian educational curriculum for Basic Science and Technology.
- Exceptional classroom management, organizational, and lesson-planning abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a natural talent for interpersonal engagement.
