Chophouse Bistro and Grills is a popular seafood and native cuisine restaurant located in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. Now, we are looking for an exceptional Bartender ready to bring their skills, energy, and creativity to our bar.
Key Responsibilities- Greet guests warmly and provide engaging, attentive customer service
- Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes
- Assess bar customers' needs and preferences and make personalized recommendations
- Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area at all times
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations, health codes, and safety standards
- Proven working experience as a bartender in a busy restaurant, hotel, or lounge
- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
- Positive attitude, excellent communication, and outstanding customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant certification in hospitality or mixology is an added advantage
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Port Harcourt, Rivers State
