About the Role
Paradise Palms Lodge & Suites is a premier hospitality destination situated in the bustling commercial and residential hub of Opebi, Ikeja, Lagos. Located strategically close to corporate offices, popular restaurants, and vibrant nightlife spots, our lodge offers an exciting and fast-paced work environment. We are currently seeking a dynamic, customer-focused, and energetic Bar Staff member to join our professional team and deliver unforgettable beverage experiences to our esteemed guests.
Key Responsibilities- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their bar experience.
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established standards.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and well-organized bar area, including counters, sinks, glasses, and equipment.
- Take accurate drink and food orders from guests or waitstaff and process payments efficiently using the lodge's POS system.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock bar supplies promptly, and report shortages to management.
- Ensure compliance with all local health, safety, and licensing regulations regarding alcohol service.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally and with a positive attitude.
- Minimum of SSCE, OND, or relevant certification in hospitality management or food and beverage service.
- Proven previous experience working as a bartender or bar staff in a hotel, lounge, or reputable hospitality establishment.
- Strong knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills in English.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Must be a resident of Lagos or able to commute reliably to Opebi, Ikeja.
