About the Role
Tulips and Lilies Confectionery, a leading bakery in Ibadan renowned for exquisite cakes and treats, is seeking a hardworking and results-driven Bakery Manager. You will lead our daily production operations, manage our talented team, and ensure excellence in product quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute daily production plans based on customer orders, sales forecasts, and business priorities.
- Ensure every confectionery item meets strict standards for taste, appearance, freshness, and packaging.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate bakers, cake decorators, and production assistants to maintain high productivity.
- Coordinate with inventory and procurement officers to monitor stock levels and prevent production delays.
- Monitor ingredient consumption, minimize waste, and implement practical cost-control measures.
- Enforce food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards across all production areas.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and dispatch teams to guarantee timely order fulfillment.
- Submit accurate daily production reports and track operational KPIs.
- Relevant experience in bakery operations, pastry production, confectionery, or food manufacturing.
- Demonstrated success in managing production staff, workflow schedules, and quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving, planning, and interpersonal communication skills.
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to food safety and hygiene.
