Key Responsibilities- Prepare and bake a wide variety of local and international bread, pastries, cakes, and confectioneries according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure the timely production of fresh baked goods to keep display shelves well-stocked throughout the day.
- Monitor baking processes, oven temperatures, and mixing times to guarantee optimal product quality and consistency.
- Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards within the bakery and kitchen workspace.
- Inspect raw ingredients and finished products for quality, freshness, and proper labeling.
- Assist in managing inventory levels of baking supplies, ingredients, and packaging materials.
- Collaborate with store retail teams to create appealing product displays and support promotional events.
- Proven professional experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef, or similar culinary role within a commercial bakery or supermarket setting.
- Relevant certifications or culinary school training in baking and pastry arts is a distinct advantage.
- Deep knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, kitchen equipment operation, and food safety regulations.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy bags of flour or ingredients.
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
