About the Role
Flutterwave is on a mission to power a new wave of prosperity across Africa by building the modern infrastructure for global digital payments. Founded in 2016, we provide the underlying technology that allows businesses to make and accept payments seamlessly anywhere in Africa. We are currently looking for a driven, passionate, and committed Back-End Engineer (C#) to join our growing engineering team and help scale our revolutionary financial products.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize C# and its accompanying technology stack effectively to develop and maintain robust backend systems and product applications.
- Integrate seamlessly with various backend systems, third-party services, and APIs to ensure optimal performance.
- Demonstrate strong object-oriented or functional analysis design skills while applying a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Contribute meaningfully to all phases of the software development lifecycle, from system design to implementation.
- Ensure the highest standards of data privacy and security, protecting personal information in line with global best practices and local regulations.
- Collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams using version control tools such as Git to deliver rapid product updates.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficient understanding of C# and modern application frameworks.
