About the Role
Inspiration 92.3FM, a premier family radio station dedicated to uplifting and inspiring our listeners through quality programming, music, and information, is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Audit Manager to join our dynamic team in Lagos, Nigeria. In this full-time, on-site role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining financial integrity, optimizing internal controls, and ensuring regulatory compliance across all our operational and financial processes.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, design, and execute comprehensive financial, operational, and compliance audits across various departments.
- Review and evaluate internal control systems to identify potential financial and operational risks, proposing actionable improvements.
- Analyze financial statements, reconcile accounts, and verify the accuracy of financial records and reports.
- Coordinate audit schedules, prepare meticulous documentation, and draft clear audit reports for senior management.
- Collaborate closely with the finance and accounting teams to resolve discrepancies and implement corrective actions effectively.
- Support regulatory compliance initiatives, assist in corporate policy development, and foster a culture of accountability and strong governance within the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIA are highly preferred.
- Proven working experience in financial auditing, internal controls, budgeting, and financial statement review.
- Advanced analytical skills with a sharp eye for detail, exceptional risk evaluation capabilities, and high numerical accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to present complex findings to diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Nigerian financial regulations and prior experience working within the media, broadcasting, or dynamic corporate sectors will be a distinct advantage.
