About the Role
Dangote Group, Africa's leading diversified business conglomerate, is looking for a dynamic and analytical Audit Analyst to join our esteemed team in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in executing comprehensive audit plans, maintaining financial integrity, and evaluating operational procedures across our diverse manufacturing and industrial operations.
Key Responsibilities- Analyse financial statements, document valuable insights, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Review capital and operational budgets while adhering to key accounting and audit standards and principles.
- Conduct thorough field surveys to gather required information on targeted business units and departments.
- Identify and report on financial or operational fraud, irregularities, and propose effective remedial actions.
- Assess operational procedures and processes to ensure internal control objectives are met efficiently.
- Support Specialist SBU Control in achieving team objectives in a timely manner and within allocated budgets.
- Present findings and recommendations in standardized formats as determined by the Head of Audit.
- Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) or HND in Accounting or a related discipline.
- Master’s degree in Accounting or an MBA serves as an added advantage.
- Active membership in professional bodies such as ICAN, ACCA, CIA, or CPA is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on financial and operational audit work experience.
- Prior experience in Big 4, global corporate environments, or multinational manufacturing industries is a strong advantage.
- Robust knowledge of finance best practices, IFRS, ICFR, and relevant regulatory standards.
