Federal University Lafia is seeking a dynamic and accomplished academic to join its esteemed faculty as an Associate Professor in Public Administration. Established in 2011, our institution is rapidly expanding its academic footprint in Nasarawa State, offering a vibrant environment for teaching, groundbreaking research, and community engagement. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to shape the next generation of public sector leaders within our Faculty of Management Sciences.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Public Administration and related courses.
- Supervise undergraduate, Masters, and Ph.D. students in their academic research projects.
- Conduct high-quality research and publish scholarly articles in reputable national and international journals.
- Participate actively in curriculum development, departmental administration, and faculty meetings.
- Contribute to community service initiatives and university-wide developmental programs.
- Must currently hold the rank of Associate Professor or equivalent in a recognized university.
- Possess a Ph.D. in Public Administration or a closely related relevant field.
- Demonstrate a strong portfolio of at least fifteen (15) publications in reputable international and national journals.
- Proven record of successful supervision of postgraduate (Masters and Ph.D.) students.
- Evidence of outstanding teaching experience and continuing academic achievement in a tertiary institution.
