Federal University Lafia invites applications from suitably qualified and dynamic academics for the position of Associate Professor in Procurement Management within the Faculty of Management Sciences. Established in 2011, our institution is committed to expanding access to quality higher education and fostering impactful research in Nigeria. We are looking for an accomplished scholar to inspire the next generation of supply chain and procurement leaders through rigorous teaching, mentorship, and cutting-acid research.
Key Responsibilities- Provide academic leadership in the Department of Procurement Management within the Faculty of Management Sciences.
- Teach, assess, and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students in procurement and supply chain management courses.
- Supervise Masters and Ph.D. research students to successful completion.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and publish extensively in reputable national and international journals.
- Contribute to curriculum development, departmental administration, and community engagement initiatives.
- Must currently hold the rank of Associate Professor or be an established Senior Lecturer ready for advancement, with a Ph.D. in Procurement Management, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related relevant field.
- Demonstrated record of outstanding and continuing teaching experience in a recognized tertiary institution.
- Must possess a minimum of fifteen (15) scholarly publications in reputable international and national peer-reviewed journals.
- Proven track record of successfully supervising Ph.D. and Masters students to graduation.
