About the Role
Federal University Lafia invites dynamic and accomplished academic leaders to apply for the position of Associate Professor in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology within our vibrant Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Established in 2011, our institution is dedicated to expanding access to quality higher education and fostering groundbreaking research in Nasarawa State, Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, as well as Master's and Ph.D. dissertations.
- Conduct cutting-edge research and publish impactful findings in reputable national and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Contribute to curriculum development, academic administration, and departmental growth within the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Mentor junior academic staff and participate actively in community engagement and university committee services.
- Must currently hold the rank of Associate Professor or be a senior academic ready for progression.
- Possess a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Technology, or a closely related relevant field from a recognized university.
- Demonstrate a strong record of outstanding and continuing university teaching experience.
- Must have a minimum of fifteen (15) scholarly publications in reputable international and national journals.
- Proven track record of successfully supervising postgraduate students at both Master's and Ph.D. levels.
