Key Responsibilities- Provide visionary academic and administrative leadership within the Department of Medical Laboratory Science.
- Design, update, and deliver comprehensive undergraduate and postgraduate curricula in line with national and global standards.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish findings in reputable local and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Mentor junior academic staff and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous professional development.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, university governance, and community engagement initiatives.
- Integrate modern digital tools and innovative pedagogical approaches into teaching and research activities.
- Possess a good Ph.D. degree with a specialization in Medical Laboratory Science or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrate a robust track record of academic and administrative leadership in a tertiary institution.
- Showcase a strong portfolio of relevant publications in reputable local and international journals.
- Minimum of nine (9) years of post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience in a university setting.
- Possess strong digital skills and a pedagogical orientation suited for modern higher education.
