In this pivotal role, you will advance our cybersecurity programs through cutting-edge research, impactful teaching, and visionary academic leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strong academic and administrative leadership within the Department of Cybersecurity.
- Design, update, and deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum in line with global standards.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish findings in reputable local and international academic journals.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Mentor junior faculty members and foster a collaborative, research-driven departmental culture.
- Engage in institutional service, curriculum development, and accreditation processes.
- Possess a Ph.D. degree with a strict specialization in Cybersecurity or a closely related computing discipline.
- Minimum of nine (9) years of post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- A robust track record of relevant publications in high-impact local and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Demonstrated history of academic leadership, administrative capability, and student mentorship.
- Proficiency in modern digital teaching tools, online learning platforms, and advanced cybersecurity technologies.
