About the Role
Tetra Maritime is a leading Nigerian ship owner and operator, providing comprehensive solutions across the oil and gas supply chain. We are seeking a rigorous, highly analytical, and detail-oriented Associate, Process Auditor to spearhead our internal process audit and compliance framework. In this role, you will independently assess and validate business processes across our international branch offices, ensuring operational workflows adhere to established corporate standards and governance policies.
Key Responsibilities- Design and execute a structured, risk-based annual and monthly process audit schedule across all operating departments and international branch offices.
- Conduct comprehensive desk reviews and on-site walkthroughs of core operational workflows to verify design quality and completeness.
- Test operational compliance against documented standard operating procedures (SOPs), SLAs, and corporate governance policies.
- Systematically identify process bottlenecks, redundancies, control weaknesses, and compliance gaps.
- Formulate practical, risk-mitigated corrective action plans in close collaboration with department heads.
- Compile clear, executive-ready Process Audit Reports detailing findings, risk impacts, and prioritization matrices.
- University degree in any discipline from a recognized institution with a strong analytical or business foundation.
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of professional experience in process auditing, internal audit, business process management, or operational risk management.
- Professional certifications such as CIA, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, CBPP, or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor are highly advantageous.
- Advanced understanding of process mapping tools, workflow logic, internal control frameworks like COSO, and risk assessment methodologies.
