About the Role
Reliance HMO is a pioneering health-tech company leveraging software, data science, and telemedicine to make healthcare more affordable, accessible, and delightful. We are currently expanding our clinical team and looking for a passionate Associate Medical Officer to support the Reliance Family Clinic (RFC). In this role, you will deliver high-quality primary care, counsel patients of diverse backgrounds, and contribute to ongoing healthcare innovations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive, evidence-based patient care by conducting examinations, ordering diagnostic tests, and developing clear treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medication management, and preventative lifestyle habits in plain language.
- Collaborate closely with nurses, pharmacists, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in community health initiatives, wellness programs, and clinical performance tracking.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality, adhere to medical ethics, and keep accurate clinical records promptly.
- Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS, MBChB, or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- 0 to 1 year of post-NYSC clinical experience.
- Valid practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Completed National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) with a discharge certificate or exemption letter.
- Residency within a 10km radius of the specific RFC location applied for.
- Familiarity with digital health tools or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems is an added advantage.
