As an Assistant Lecturer, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality instruction, conducting impactful research, and mentoring undergraduate medical students.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Radiology.
- Develop and update curriculum materials, teaching aids, and student assessment tools.
- Supervise undergraduate student projects, clinical rotations, and academic research activities.
- Conduct original research in Radiology and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed academic journals.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committee meetings and administrative duties.
- Provide academic advising, career guidance, and mentorship to students.
- Possession of a good Second Class Honours Bachelor degree in a relevant medical or allied health science field from a recognized institution.
- Must hold a Master degree in Radiology or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated potential for academic research and scholarly publications.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Membership in relevant professional medical or radiological bodies will be an added advantage.
