Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in various physiotherapy subjects to undergraduate students.
- Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and curriculum content in alignment with best practices in physiotherapy education.
- Assess student performance through examinations, assignments, and practical evaluations, providing constructive and timely feedback.
- Engage in impactful academic research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students to support their personal and professional development.
- Participate in departmental meetings, committee work, and university events to contribute to the overall growth of the institution.
- Possess a relevant Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Physiotherapy or a closely related medical rehabilitation field from a recognized institution.
- Must be a licensed physiotherapist with a valid practicing license from the Medical Rehabilitation Therapists Board of Nigeria (MRTB).
- Demonstrated teaching experience or a strong passion for academic instruction and student mentorship at the tertiary level.
- Active involvement in research and evidence of academic publications will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with a strong command of the English language.
