We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified Assistant Lecturer in Pharmaceutical and Pharmaceutical Technology to join our esteemed Department of Pharmacy. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality education, mentoring aspiring pharmacists, and contributing to the academic and research advancement of the university in a rapidly evolving global landscape.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Pharmaceutical and Pharmaceutical Technology.
- Develop and update course materials, curricula, and assessment tools in alignment with accreditation standards.
- Mentor undergraduate students, providing academic guidance and career counselling.
- Engage in impactful research, publish scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to departmental research goals.
- Participate in departmental meetings, university committees, and community engagement initiatives.
- Supervise undergraduate student research projects and laboratory assignments.
- Possess a minimum of a Master's degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Relevant teaching, research, or industry experience within the pharmaceutical sector is highly advantageous.
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN) or relevant professional body.
- Demonstrated strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
