We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Assistant Lecturer in Electrical & Electronic Engineering to join our vibrant academic community.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
- Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and curriculum content in line with current industry standards and NUC guidelines.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through examinations, quizzes, assignments, and projects, providing constructive feedback.
- Supervise undergraduate student research projects, practical designs, and academic dissertations.
- Actively participate in departmental meetings, faculty committees, and university-wide academic events.
- Engage in impactful research, scholarly publications, and continuous professional development within the engineering field.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students to support their personal and professional growth.
- Possess a minimum of a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- A PhD or progress toward a doctoral degree will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated teaching experience or a strong aptitude for academic instruction at the tertiary level.
- Evidence of active research interest, academic publications, and industry engagement.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software, simulation tools, and modern e-learning platforms.
