About the Role
Bingham University, Karu, established by the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), is committed to providing quality tertiary education that integrates moral and spiritual values. We are currently seeking a dynamic and academically driven professional to join our Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences as an Assistant Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice. In this role, you will contribute to shaping the next generation of pharmacists within a Christ-centred academic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice to undergraduate students.
- Develop and update course materials, curricula, and assessment methods in alignment with National Universities Commission (NUC) and Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN) standards.
- Supervise undergraduate student research projects, fieldwork, and clinical rotations.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university committee meetings as assigned.
- Engage in impactful research, scholarly publications, and community service initiatives.
- Must possess a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from a recognized institution.
- Possession of a postgraduate degree (M.Pharm or Pharm.D. with fellowship) or progress toward a PhD in Clinical Pharmacy will be an added advantage.
- Current and valid registration with the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN) with a valid practicing license.
- Demonstrated potential for teaching, research, and academic leadership.
