We are currently looking for a motivated Assistant Fleet Manager to join our fast-paced team in Nigeria and play a crucial role in maintaining our high operational standards. In this position, you will work closely with the fleet management team to ensure our trucks, drivers, and transportation activities run smoothly, safely, and efficiently to meet our clients' demanding logistics needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing day-to-day fleet operations, transportation activities, and vehicle dispatching to ensure seamless logistics workflows.
  • Monitor vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and driver performance to maintain optimal efficiency and strict regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate scheduled vehicle maintenance, track repair progress, and ensure prompt troubleshooting of mechanical issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate fleet records, documentation, and compliance logs using digital tools.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers and internal departments to resolve operational bottlenecks and support timely deliveries.
  • Prepare regular reports detailing fleet activities, operational costs, and overall performance metrics.
  • Demonstrate high resilience and adaptability while handling operational emergencies and working under pressure.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or any related discipline.
  • Strictly 0 to 2 years of professional experience within the logistics, transport, freight forwarding, or supply chain industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data tracking and reporting.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • High level of resilience and readiness to handle high-pressure operational environments and emergencies.
  • Male candidates are preferred for this specific role due to operational demands.
