About the Role

Dragnet Solutions is looking for a dedicated and experienced Assistant Chief Nursing Officer to join our dynamic healthcare team in Nigeria. In this critical leadership role, you will oversee nursing operations across both Out-Patient and In-Patient units, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, clinical governance, and infection prevention are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior nursing leadership and supervision within Out-Patient and In-Patient streams.
  • Supervise, mentor, and appraise nursing staff to support their ongoing professional development.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and timely nursing records and clinical documentation.
  • Apply rigorous infection-prevention and clinical-governance standards across all units.
  • Act as a senior resource for clinical escalation and complex decision-making within assigned units.
  • Coordinate injection, dressing, and minor-procedure clinics for the Out-Patient stream.
  • Oversee shift handover quality and admission/discharge planning within the wards.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years of post-registration nursing experience, including experience at the Principal Nursing Officer grade or equivalent.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) qualification from an accredited School/College of Nursing or a Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc/BSc Nursing) from a recognized university.
  • Valid Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) registration/licence and Mandatory Continuing Professional Development Programme (MCPDP) compliance.
  • Strong competencies in nursing assessment, care planning, medication administration, and patient safety.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
