About the Role
Marsand Bespoke Joinery Limited is a premier bespoke furniture company specialising in ready-made to fit solutions for custom kitchens and wardrobes. We are currently seeking a creative, technically skilled, and detail-oriented Architect to join our growing team. In this role, you will be involved in the design and development of exceptional projects from initial concept through final execution. You will work closely with clients, consultants, and our internal production teams to deliver functional, practical, and well-resolved spaces that exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop innovative architectural concepts, designs, layouts, and professional presentations based on client project requirements.
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and accurate technical drawings.
- Conduct thorough site inspections, precise measurements, assessments, and comprehensive documentation.
- Translate client briefs into practical, beautiful, and well-developed design solutions tailored for bespoke joinery.
- Create high-quality 2D and 3D designs and visual presentations to communicate ideas effectively.
- Coordinate seamlessly with clients, contractors, production teams, and artisans to ensure smooth project workflows.
- Monitor site progress and installations, making necessary design adjustments based on site conditions or technical needs.
- Maintain organized records of drawings, measurements, revisions, and project specifications.
- A degree in Architecture or a directly related field.
- Relevant professional experience in architecture, interior architecture, or custom furniture design environments.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or ArchiCAD.
- Strong knowledge of architectural drawings, space planning, precision measurements, materials, and construction principles.
- Exceptional visualisation, technical drawing interpretation, and design presentation skills.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and client-facing abilities with great attention to detail.
