Vantegral Consulting is seeking a talented and driven Android / Device App Developer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting sophisticated Android applications that interact seamlessly with connected devices and operational systems within the Oil and Gas industry. Key Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and enhance robust Android applications for operational and connected devices.
- Build applications that interact smoothly with fuel dispensing systems, payment terminals, and field equipment.
- Integrate Android applications with RESTful APIs, backend systems, and databases.
- Manage integrations with hardware peripherals including QR scanners, RFID/NFC, printers, and cameras.
- Perform rigorous application testing to ensure reliability, optimal security, and high performance before deployment.
- Collaborate closely with hardware, IoT, IT, and engineering teams to commission and deploy field-ready solutions.
- BSc/HND in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 to 5 years of professional Android development experience.
- Strong command of the Android SDK, Kotlin, and Java programming languages.
- Demonstrated experience in hardware integration and working with payment systems or POS applications.
- Familiarity with Git version control, debugging tools, and comprehensive application testing.
- Previous working exposure within the Oil and Gas or industrial technology sectors is a distinct advantage.
