About the Role
Wenby's College, a reputable institution located in Idimu, Lagos State, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Agricultural Science Teacher to join our esteemed faculty. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping students' understanding of agricultural practices, environmental science, and sustainable farming. We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who can bring the subject to life through engaging classroom instruction and practical agricultural projects, fostering both academic excellence and a genuine passion for agriculture among our students.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Agricultural Science lessons in accordance with the approved secondary school curriculum.
- Design and supervise practical agricultural activities, school garden projects, and demonstrations to reinforce theoretical concepts.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
- Participate in school-wide extracurricular activities, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development programs.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science, Agriculture, or a closely related field.
- A recognized professional teaching qualification (such as PGDE, TRCN certification, or equivalent) is strictly required.
- Demonstrated passion for teaching and mentoring young learners with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must reside within Idimu, Ejigbo, Igando, Ikotun, Iyana-Ipaja, or immediate environs within Lagos State for ease of commuting.
