About the Role
Nady Academy is a reputable private co-educational school situated in the Gwiwa Lowcost Estate area of Sokoto, Nigeria. We are committed to providing comprehensive academic programs spanning nursery, primary, and secondary school education. We are currently looking for a passionate and qualified Agricultural Science Teacher to join our dynamic team of educators and inspire students through practical and theoretical agricultural education.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver well-structured and engaging Agricultural Science lessons to secondary school students in line with the Nigerian secondary school curriculum.
- Plan and implement practical agricultural activities, school farm projects, and demonstrations to enhance student learning.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback and regular reports to school management and parents.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and stimulating learning environment within the classroom and school farm areas.
- Participate in school extracurricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Possession of a recognized teaching qualification such as NCE, B.Ed, or B.Sc. in Agricultural Science or related fields.
- Professional certifications such as a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PDE) and Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) license will be added advantages.
- Previous teaching experience in a structured school environment is highly preferred.
