About the Role
Honeywell International is seeking an experienced Advanced Field Service Engineer to deliver comprehensive on-site technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for sophisticated machinery and equipment. In this pivotal role, you will serve as an escalation expert and technical leader, driving operational excellence while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction across assigned accounts.
Key Responsibilities- Provide on-site technical assistance, installation, commissioning, and maintenance services for complex equipment and systems at customer locations
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently, minimizing downtime and optimizing equipment performance
- Act as the primary technical escalation point for Field Service Specialists and Service Engineers
- Lead cross-functional teams to address administrative and technical challenges in equipment delivery and installation
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to proactively identify potential issues
- Maintain accurate service documentation, including reports and customer interaction records
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, and customer support teams for comprehensive service delivery
- Provide valuable feedback to product development teams for continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulatory guidelines during all service activities
- Travel to domestic and international customer sites as required
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field (relevant diploma certifications considered)
- Proven experience in field service engineering or equivalent technical roles
- Strong knowledge of complex machinery, equipment systems, and industrial instrumentation
- Expertise in custody transfer, tank inventory management, gas flow metering, and flame detection systems
- Proficient troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Customer-focused approach with strong relationship-building capabilities
- Self-motivated, independent worker with excellent organizational skills
- Flexibility to travel extensively on short notice
