About the Role
Mota-Engil, a globally competitive and innovative leader in the construction and infrastructure sector, is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Technician for the prestigious Kano-Maradi Railway Project in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operational flow of our construction activities by managing logistics, procurement, inventory, and general site administration. You will collaborate closely with various project teams to maintain efficiency and compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide general office administration and human resources support for personnel assigned to the construction project.
- Process, review, and register material and equipment requisitions submitted by production and construction teams.
- Request quotations, support supplier comparisons, and monitor purchase orders and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate the dispatch, transportation, and delivery of materials and equipment to specific work fronts.
- Maintain accurate stock records, monitor inventory levels, and support periodic physical stock counts.
- Control and organize delivery notes, invoices, purchase orders, and other supplier documentation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures within your area of responsibility.
- Technical diploma or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Logistics, Procurement, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in administrative, procurement, logistics, or inventory-control roles, preferably within civil construction.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Professional proficiency in English with effective communication and teamwork abilities.
