About the Role
Iconic Open University, a fully licensed private open and distance learning institution by the National Universities Commission (NUC), is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Ad-Hoc Examination Proctor and Supervisor to join our team in Sokoto. In this vital temporary role, you will play an essential part in upholding academic standards by overseeing Computer-Based Test (CBT) examinations and ensuring a seamless testing experience for our students. We are looking for dedicated professionals who possess a high level of integrity, strong organizational capabilities, and a commitment to maintaining a fair and secure examination environment.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor Computer-Based Test (CBT) examinations thoroughly to ensure a seamless testing process.
- Enforce strict adherence to university examination rules, regulations, and guidelines among all candidates.
- Supervise the conduct of examinations actively to prevent and deter any form of academic malpractice.
- Assist in the efficient distribution, management, and collection of examination materials.
- Compile and submit comprehensive incident and general conduct reports to the appropriate university authorities after each session.
- Must hold a minimum of a Master’s Degree from a recognized institution with relevant technical experience.
- Demonstrated prior experience in examination supervision or proctoring within a tertiary educational institution.
- Must be currently resident in Sokoto.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in navigating web-based applications and CBT software.
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
- Demonstrated high level of personal integrity, professionalism, and strict attention to duty.
