About the Role
Iconic Open University, a fully licensed private open and distance learning institution by the National Universities Commission (NUC) in Abuja, Nigeria, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Ad-Hoc Examination Proctor / Supervisor to join our team in Birnin-Kebbi, Kebbi State. In this vital temporary role, you will play a crucial part in upholding the academic standards and integrity of our university by ensuring that all examinations are conducted smoothly, fairly, and in strict compliance with institutional guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor Computer-Based Testing (CBT) examinations to ensure seamless technical execution and a quiet testing environment.
- Ensure strict adherence to all examination rules, regulations, and university guidelines by candidates.
- Supervise and actively monitor the conduct of examinations to proactively prevent malpractice and address any irregularities.
- Assist in the efficient distribution, management, and collection of examination materials.
- Compile and submit comprehensive reports on the conduct and outcome of examinations to the appropriate authorities.
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree from a recognized and accredited tertiary institution, accompanied by relevant technical experience.
- Demonstrated prior experience in examination supervision or proctoring within a recognized tertiary institution.
- Must be currently resident in Birnin-Kebbi, Kebbi State.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in navigating web-based operating systems and CBT platforms.
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
