About the Role
Iconic Open University, a premier private open and distance learning institution licensed by the National Universities Commission (NUC) Abuja-Nigeria, is seeking a diligent and experienced Ad-Hoc Examination Proctor and Supervisor for our upcoming assessment exercises in Ilorin. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in upholding academic standards by ensuring that all computer-based tests and traditional examinations are conducted smoothly, fairly, and in strict compliance with institutional guidelines. We are looking for proactive professionals who possess a high sense of duty and can manage examination environments effectively in a fast-paced tertiary education setting.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and oversee Computer-Based Test (CBT) examinations to ensure seamless technical operations and compliance.
- Ensure strict adherence to all examination rules, regulations, and guidelines by candidates.
- Supervise the conduct of examinations actively to prevent any form of malpractice or academic dishonesty.
- Assist in the secure distribution, management, and collection of examination materials.
- Compile and submit comprehensive incident and conduct reports to the university examination committee promptly.
- Must hold a minimum of a Master's Degree from a recognized and accredited tertiary institution with relevant academic or technical experience.
- Demonstrated prior experience in examination supervision, proctoring, or invigilation within a recognized tertiary institution.
- Must be currently resident in Ilorin, Kwara State.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in operating web platforms, digital systems, and CBT software.
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
- Unflinching integrity, reliability, and high attention to detail regarding assigned duties.
