About the Role
Iconic Open University, a fully licensed private open and distance learning institution by the National Universities Commission (NUC), is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Ad-Hoc Examination Proctor and Supervisor to join our team in Akure. In this vital temporary role, you will uphold the highest standards of academic integrity by overseeing Computer-Based Test (CBT) examinations, guiding students, and strictly enforcing institutional policies. We pride ourselves on delivering accessible, high-quality education and require dedicated professionals to ensure our assessment processes run smoothly, fairly, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor Computer-Based Test (CBT) examinations to ensure a seamless and secure testing environment.
- Ensure strict adherence to all university examination rules, regulations, and guidelines by candidates.
- Supervise and monitor the entire conduct of examinations to actively prevent and report any forms of academic malpractice.
- Assist in the systematic distribution, management, and collection of examination materials and documentation.
- Compile and submit comprehensive post-examination reports detailing the conduct and any notable incidents to the appropriate authorities.
- A minimum of a Master’s Degree from a recognized institution coupled with relevant technical or academic experience.
- Demonstrated prior experience in examination supervision, invigilation, or proctoring within a recognized tertiary institution.
- Must be a current resident of Akure to ensure prompt and reliable arrival for scheduled examination sessions.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in navigating web-based operating systems and CBT platforms.
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills with the ability to handle high-pressure environments.
- Uncompromising personal integrity, strong ethical standards, and meticulous attention to duty.
