About the Role
Iconic Open University, a premier private open and distance learning institution licensed by the National Universities Commission (NUC) in Abuja, Nigeria, is seeking a diligent and experienced Ad-Hoc Examination Proctor / Supervisor to join our team in Gwagwalada, Abuja. In this vital role, you will uphold the academic integrity of our institution by overseeing computer-based testing and ensuring that all examination processes run smoothly and fairly.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor computer-based testing (CBT) examinations to ensure a seamless technical and operational process.
- Ensure strict adherence to all university examination rules, policies, and guidelines by candidates.
- Supervise and monitor the conduct of examinations actively to prevent any form of malpractice or academic dishonesty.
- Assist efficiently in the distribution, management, and collection of examination materials.
- Compile and submit comprehensive reports on the conduct of examinations to the appropriate university authorities.
- Minimum of a Master's Degree from a recognized and accredited tertiary institution, coupled with relevant technical experience.
- Demonstrated prior experience in examination supervision, proctoring, or invigilation within a recognized tertiary institution.
- Must be currently resident in Gwagwalada or the immediate environs of Abuja.
- Strong computer literacy, digital literacy, and web-operating skills for managing CBT platforms.
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
- Unimpeachable integrity, high ethical standards, and strict attention to duty.
