Elizabeth Maddeux Limited is seeking a dedicated and technically competent Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing sector client. In this role, you will play a vital part in operating and monitoring nylon processing machinery to ensure efficient production, superior product quality, and strict adherence to safety guidelines. Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor nylon and polythene processing and production machinery daily.
- Set up machines and adjust operating parameters according to exact production specifications.
- Maintain accurate production records, tracking output, downtime, and material usage.
- Minimize material wastage and optimize overall machine efficiency.
- Follow strict production schedules to consistently meet daily output targets.
- Ensure full compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Maintenance, and Quality Control teams.
- Report machine breakdowns, defects, and production issues promptly to minimize disruption.
- Minimum of an SSCE or OND; relevant technical certifications will be a strong advantage.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience operating machinery in nylon, polythene, plastic, packaging, or related manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated hands-on expertise with nylon and polythene processing equipment.
- Good understanding of industrial production processes and machine safety standards.
- Strong ability to work under pressure and achieve demanding production targets.
