About the Role
Dexterous Applied Training Institute (DATI) is an industry-certified Training and Consultancy Institute dedicated to bridging the critical skills gap across key sectors in Nigeria, including Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, Banking, and Energy. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accreditation Officer to manage our institutional and programmatic accreditation portfolios, ensuring full compliance with national and international regulatory standards to uphold the highest levels of educational integrity and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the end-to-end process for new accreditation applications, renewals, and maintenance with national and international bodies.
- Serve as the primary liaison for all accrediting agencies, managing official submissions, correspondence, and external audit schedules.
- Monitor regulatory changes continuously, conducting comprehensive gap analyses to maintain institutional compliance.
- Prepare, compile, and maintain accurate documentation required for audits, ensuring strict version control and traceability.
- Coordinate external accreditation audits, managing logistics, staff preparation, and post-audit Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) plans.
- Maintain a centralized, up-to-date accreditation register detailing scopes, validity periods, and renewal timelines.
- Advise institute management and department heads on regulatory impacts related to daily operations and curriculum development.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (Second Class Upper) or HND (Upper Credit) in Law, Public Administration, Business Administration, Educational Management, Quality Management, or a related field.
- A Master's degree in a relevant discipline is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in accreditation, regulatory compliance, or quality assurance within the education or vocational training sector.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO standards (such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and risk management practices.
- Deep familiarity with Nigeria's educational and vocational training regulatory frameworks and requirements.
- Exceptional proficiency in MS Office Suite, digital record systems, and document management portals.
